Breakfast, Study Roadmap and Pub Crawl – a colorful program for the new EMS Students
While the newly enrolled students of the English-language Bachelor and Master programs are already attending their seminars and lectures, the “freshmen” of the German-language Bachelor programs General Management and Business Psychology can still look forward to their Introduction Week.
Anyone wishing to begin studies at the EMS the beginning of October can still apply for the above-mentioned Bachelor programs and, after successful completion of the assessment day, start at the European Management School (EMS). The application deadline is September 21st.
This is what awaits you during the Introduction Week: After the daily breakfast together, you will get to know the EMS Service Departments, find out all the relevant facts about your study program using the Study Road Map and make initial contacts with your future classmates. The Students Organization is looking forward to meet you at joint events, such as the traditional Pub Crawl, black light miniature golf or the semester opening party.
The freshman who celebrated the start of their studies at the European Management School (EMS) on August 20thtogether with family and friends in the Hyatt Ballroom already received their first impressions of what is to come. They were greeted by professors, students and employees of the EMS, received their first impressions of student life in Mainz and received first hand important insider tips on sports and leisure activities, nightlife or student life events.
After the official semester opening ceremony, during an Open University event, EMS faculty members gave a taste of the topics that await the new business students. These promise excitement, many new challenges and, of course, top-notch, sound and hands-on academic education: What matters in the marketing of sustainable products, how do I drive innovation, and why is international labor law anything but dry theory? The “newcomers” also discovered that a successful study experience begins with personal expectations, goals and individual time management.
All freshmen starting their studies in October can also look forward to an eventful Introduction Week – your fellow students, professors and the EMS team are looking forward to seeing you!
