Our lecturers are active in the competitive economy and bring their practical experience into the lecture. In addition, you work on a real or realistic case in a business project, and through a business simulation game, you discover how your strategy developed for a personnel management task actually works. In order to be sure that you do not only develop solutions, but also convincingly communicate and enforce them, the study program reinforces and trains your personal skills, such as self- and project management. Professional experience is gained during a minimum eight weeks internship between the second and third semester – on request also abroad. Many students complete their master’s thesis in cooperation with a company and thus gain further practical experience relevance in their studies.
The master’s program with specialization in HRM & Leadership is an internationally oriented degree program, allowing you to gain a deeper insight into international business processes. Since HRM requires a secure level of English at an international level, the study language is English. In addition, numerous language courses at the EMS offer the opportunity to learn or consolidate another foreign language such as Spanish or French. You are also free to write your master’s Thesis in the fourth semester as part of a semester abroad at one of our numerous partner universities, thus further expanding your intercultural and language skills.
